John is a career rail professional with 38 years’ experience and a track record in delivering projects and business improvements to deliver safe, profitably, high quality, services, projects and products.
He has worked for 23 years on the client side, working for a railway operator/maintainer and 15 years in supplier/consultant organisations, including a multinational blue-chip manufacturer and an Australian engineering design and construction organisation.
John has overseen the delivery of multi-disciplinary railway projects in heavy and light rail environments. Projects include multi-disciplined railway and associated property projects, such as Wynyard Station Re-development, Edinburgh Tram design and construction. He has a record of innovation, bringing new products, applications, services, and processes to a variety of railway markets. He has also been an expert witness in legal disputes.
