Toby Atkinson

Toby is a Fellow of the Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors with over 20 years’ experience in the integration of human factors into system design for Rollingstock, Infrastructure, armoured vehicles, naval vessels and personal equipment.
Toby has experience on both sides of the contractor/client relationship; providing practical advice to designers to enhance design through consideration of user requirements, or critically reviewing designs to ensure appropriate application of human factors. Toby is committed to focussing effort where harmonisation of man and machine will realise the greatest benefit; through the reduction of safety or performance risk.
