Mike North
National Director, Systems & Safety Assurance
Responsible for the leadership of our Systems and Safety Assurance business, Mike is a Chartered Engineer based in Sydney. He has 25 years’ experience working across nuclear, rail, transport and engineering projects in the UK, Europe and Australia.
Mike has held key management positions in client, consulting, manufacturing and government organisation. In addition, he has extensive experience in operation and maintenance of transport infrastructure. Mike specialises in designing and implementing Safety and Systems Assurance frameworks in complex contractual environments including Public Private Partnerships.
Mike has a strong track record of delivery of Safety, Systems Assurance and Risk management.
Stakeholder management skills have been central to Mike’s success, and he has extensive experience working with stakeholders including TfNSW, financiers, O&M and D&C Contractors, designers and industry regulators.
