Ed is a Principal Engineer with over 30 years’ rail experience, the last 23 years in Design and Design Consultancy within Client organisations.
Highly process driven with a focus on the provision of auditable and traceable design practices, Edward’s capabilities include; project & design management; project engineering; concept and design development from first principles, design review and assurance.
Ed leads the Tactix team in Melbourne and is responsible for the day to day delivery of works to clients with Victoria.
Recent Selected Experience:
- Leading & undertaking Acceptance Reviews for MTM of Signalling Design packages on behalf of MTM
- Engineering Services, level Crossing Review Group.
- Provision of technical assistance as part of the tender response for Siemens CPRC project
- Production of CBTC options paper to assess implementation options for the introduction of CBTC system for
- Melbourne Metro as part of DTPLI team.
- Regional Rail Link, WP G ALDS checking.
- Technical Advisor to DPTI for the electrification of the Adelaide rail network (ARTC interface).
- Independent Verification across projects throughout Victoria, NSW & SA.
